Currently we are looking for a Senior Accountant who would join our team in the Branch Office of KR Group in Hungary in a full-time position.
Main responsibilities are:
- Reviewing and accounting of documents according to local Act on Accounting.
- Responsible for the accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the general ledger for allocated clients.
- Responsible for drawing up the annual financial statements.
- Reviewing and checking of the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, subledgers, etc.
- Responsible for drawing up the tax declarations (in particular PIT, CIT, VAT) according to local tax regulations.
- Following month-end closing procedures.
- Maintaining correspondence with the clients.
- Handling tax and accounting audits under the supervision of the Manager.
- Reporting in a financial and accounting software at customer’s request.
- Cooperating and supervising over junior accountants.
- Reporting to the Manager of the Branch.
Attributes:
- Master Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Fluent English.
- Very good knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations (Local Chartered Accountant qualification is a must).
- Over 5 years of experience in accounting (preferably at an accounting service provider).
- Analytical thinking, discipline, detail-oriented.
- Results driven, proactive and client-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work alone and autonomously.
- Think “out of the box” attitude.
- Drive, determination and influencing abilities.
- Advanced user of Excel and other Office programs and ability to work with special accounting software’s.

Currently we are looking for a Junior Accountant in the Branch Office of KR Group in Hungary.
Main responsibilities are:
- Ability to identify accounting documents according to the local regulations,
- Sorting, numbering accounting records and introducing them into the accounting system due to local regulations.
- Accounting of simple costs/incomes, bank statements and sales invoices.
- Assure, under supervision, that accounting records, transactions, reports, operating practices and documentation are in compliance with local regulations.
- Providing support to the accountant for the assigned clients portfolio,
- Maintaining correspondence with the customers.
- Accounting assistance in administration matters (copying, archiving).
- Offering assistance during tax or accounting audits.
Attributes:
- Student or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Fluent English – communication level.
- Basic accounting knowledge of the requirements to be met by the local regulations.
- 1 year of experience in accounting (preferably in an accounting office) is an advantage. Experience in real estate market will be welcomed.

Currently we are looking for a VAT Compliance Manager who would join to our team in Budapest, Hungary in a full-time position.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation, review, reconciliation and submission of VAT returns, Intrastat reports and other indirect tax related documents of multinational Clients.
- Advise Clients on the VAT and any other indirect tax consequences of their activities and transactions.
- Support Clients during VAT registration procedures.
- Conduct due diligence and tax planning projects.
- Represent the Clients towards the tax authority during tax audits as a tax advisor or as a fiscal representative.
- Responding to requests from Clients and pro-active anticipation of Clients’ needs and development of new ideas and approaches for improving Client satisfaction.
- Professional coordination and coaching of Junior Advisor colleagues.
- Working together with other advisor or accountant colleagues on Client engagements involving more service areas.
- Liaise with external customs duty specialists and actively seek planning opportunities to minimise customs duty.
Attributes:
- Master Degree in Finance, Accounting or Law.
- Fluent English, knowledge of a second language is a plus.
- Practical experience in dealing with local and European VAT and other indirect tax regulations.
- Local Tax Advisor qualification is a must, Chartered Tax Expert qualification is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in VAT advisory and compliance (preferably at an advisory company), strong accounting knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
